Removing the turret allowed engineers to mount the powerful 7.5 cm Pak 39 L/48 gun, making it a powerful tank hunter.The StuG III Ausf. G Expansion Pack adds a new tank type for players to employ in their platoons, the tank destroyer. When shooting from cover, tank destroyers are more likely to shrug off incoming enemy fire. Combined this with a Survivability of 2, the StuG III Ausf. G is best suited to lie in wait, providing covering fire to other tanks in the platoon.In the online game the StuG III Ausf. G has excellent manoeuvrability and turning ability for a tank destroyer. Whilst it has a Mobility of 2 like most other tanks in the miniatures game it has good Initiative, allowing it to make the most of any opportunities that it is presented with. Adding Bernold Knoke to the crew can further enhance the Initiative of tank during the shooting phase.Inside the StuG III Ausf.
